The Slovak Republic Automobile Club is an association that brings together individuals, motorists, amateurs and motorised sport event organisers. Its mission is to develop activities linked to the motoring world. The club is based in Bratislava and operates on a national level. It is made up of 21 clubs throughout the republic, and has a total of 5.800 members.

We will continue with road safety actions:
1. We will organize traffic instructions on our own mobile traffic yards in regions where there are not fixed traffic yards. We have 4 of such yards, built according to our professional and industrial model. The aim is to school up to 25,000 children in next three years. The target is children from 1.-4. Years of study of elementary schools.
2. We will built our own training and safety parcour centre first in Slovakia (estimated date: autumn 2011) and the yearly capacity in Trnava will be approximately 35,000 drivers. The training will be focused on improving the handling skills with the car in critical situations. The whole facility will serve exclusively for improving of road safety. In collaboration with city of Trnava we will offer some free training for the drivers:
a) First and foremost we will address it to young drivers with up to two years driving experience after the reception of the driving license.
b) Special courses which will be suitable for professional drivers (long distance drivers, lorry drivers, tank drivers etc.)
Courses will be mostly focused on:
·Reaction time before and after the vehicle starts skidding,
·Basic and advanced knowledge and skills about braking on dry and wet surfaces,
·Avoidance of unexpected obstacles,
·Handling,
·Control of the vehicle under aquaplaning,
·Improvement of handling skills with a motorcycle.
Our target will be children, young people and all drivers in amount approximately 1,150,000. Number of materials produced (leaflets, materials, etc.) more than 20,000.
Duration of commitment: 3 years.
